These requirements apply to students, parents/guardians, and organizations enrolling in any programs, virtual classes, kits, or learning opportunities offered by the Foundation.
1. Student Eligibility
- Students must be in grades 3–12 (organizations may enroll younger students at their discretion).
- Students must have parent/guardian consent if under age 18.
- Students must meet basic technology access requirements for virtual learning (phone, tablet, or computer).
2. Parent/Guardian Requirements (For Minors)
- Complete the student enrollment form fully and accurately.
- Acknowledge and agree to the Participation Agreement and safety guidelines.
- Provide emergency contact details.
- Ensure student attendance for selected program schedules.
3. Organization Enrollment Requirements
For schools, youth programs, Boys & Girls Clubs, after-school sites, and nonprofits:
- Must submit an Organization Enrollment Application.
- Identify the site coordinator or lead contact.
- Confirm ability to host students for program hours (virtual or on-site).
- Agree to Funtology’s program delivery standards.
- Kits must be purchased in increments of 12 or 15, matching program selection.
- Staff must participate in the 3-hour virtual training before launching the program.
4. Technology Requirements
- Reliable internet access for virtual sessions.
- Student login to iFuntology.com for quizzes, tests, and curriculum access.
- Ability to participate in Zoom or other video platforms when required.
5. Participation Requirements
- Students must follow the Code of Conduct, including respectful behavior.
- All assignments, quizzes, and virtual activities must be completed on schedule.
- Students must keep kits, supplies, and learning materials in good condition.
6. Program Kit Requirements
- Each enrolled student must have an official Funtology program kit corresponding to their program (Funtology, Barbertology, Nailtology, or Skintology).
- Kits must be the same type if ordered by an organization.
- Kits are required for all hands-on or virtual learning activities.
7. Attendance Expectations
- Students must attend scheduled sessions (virtual or program-organized).
- Organizations may set their own attendance minimums.
- Excessive absences may result in removal from certificate eligibility.
8. Certification Requirements
To earn in-program certificates:
- Complete all required coursework and activities.
- Pass online quizzes and tests through the iFuntology platform.
- Complete any assigned practical logs, activities, or project submissions.
9. Safety & Conduct Requirements
- Students must adhere to all safety rules when using tools or kits.
- No student may perform services on live clients — practice mannequins only.
- Dress for success and safety for all job-shadowing or leadership activities.
10. Acceptable Use Requirements
- Students must use the iFuntology platform for educational purposes only.
- Misuse of technology, disrespectful communication, or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the program.
11. Documentation Requirements
- Student or guardian must provide:
- Basic demographic information
- Emergency contact
- Program selection
- Agreement to policies
- Organizations must provide:
- Coordinator information
- Program schedule
- Purchase order or payment method
12. Enrollment Confirmation
Enrollment is considered complete when:
- Application is submitted
- Payment or approved sponsorship is received
- Kits are assigned
- Student/organization is activated in the iFuntology system
